Audit your firm's BIM maturity
A structured diagnostic across 13 themes of the ISO 19650 standard — common data environment, roles, information requirements, coordination, security — to know precisely where your firm stands, and what to fix first.
The diagnostic is done online, theme by theme: a free overall score in a few minutes. Plans from €49/month.
How it works
You answer the questionnaire
52 questions spread across 13 themes, at the scale of the whole firm — not a particular project or person. 11 themes are scored; 2 axes (perceived priorities, obstacles) provide context for the action plan.
You get a detailed score
An overall score out of 100, and a breakdown by theme to see precisely where the strengths and weaknesses are.
You receive an action plan
Prioritised, dated next steps with an estimated score gain — not just a report that gathers dust in a drawer.
Who this audit is for
- Partners and firm leaders who want an objective view of their BIM level
- BIM Managers who want a baseline before launching an action plan
- Firms preparing for ISO 19650 certification or responding to tenders that require it
- Growing firms who want to structure their processes before they become unmanageable
Why do it
- An objective score rather than an impression (“we're pretty good”, “we're behind”)
- A prioritised action plan, not a list of 50 things to fix at once
- Tracking over time: each new diagnostic compares against the previous ones
- The overall score is free and appears in a few minutes
Frequently asked questions
What does this audit actually measure?
The firm's processes — not the quality of a particular Revit model. It looks at whether the firm has put in place shared rules of the game (common data environment, roles, conventions) that don't depend on a single person.
Who should answer the questionnaire?
Ideally a partner or a technical director, cross-checking their impressions against two or three recent projects rather than answering from memory.
Why 52 questions but 11 scored themes?
The 52 questions cover 13 themes. 11 themes describe practices (CDE, EIR/BEP, roles, coordination, security, training, Revit…) and make up the score out of 100. The last 2 — key success factors and obstacles — measure perceived priorities and blockers: they are not scored, but they shape the action plan.
Is the diagnostic free?
The overall score is free and shown immediately. The detailed theme-by-theme report and the prioritised action plan are part of our paid plans.
How often should it be repeated?
An annual pace suits most firms; those going through faster change (significant hiring, new tools, first contractual ISO 19650 projects) can tighten this to six months.
Is a low score a bad sign?
No — a score of 40 or 50 out of 100 is the starting point for the large majority of firms doing their first diagnostic. What matters is the breakdown by theme, not the overall number.
Does this diagnostic issue an official ISO certification?
No. It's an internal self-assessment tool, neither issued nor recognized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It helps prepare a certification process; it isn't one.
