Frequently asked questions
Is this certificate an official ISO certification?
No. This exam is offered by BIMaturity for educational purposes; it is neither issued nor recognized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It's a quick way to demonstrate a solid understanding of the standard's principles, not an accredited professional certification.
How many questions does the exam have?
20 multiple-choice questions, drawn at random from a pool of 60 spread across 10 themes — so two people taking the exam will almost never see exactly the same questions.
How long does it take?
15 minutes maximum: 45 seconds are allotted per question, a limit set deliberately so there's no time to look answers up elsewhere.
What happens if I don't reach 75%?
You can retry the exam: after 24 hours if your score is between 50 and 74%, after 72 hours if it's below 50%. This delay gives you time to review the weak points rather than retrying immediately at random.
Is the exam really free?
Yes, completely free, no card and no account needed upfront. Your details (name, email, country) are only requested at the very end, before your score is shown.
How can a recruiter verify a certificate?
Each certificate has a unique ID, verifiable online on BIMaturity's verification page, or via the QR code printed on the PDF — scanning the code or entering the ID confirms the name, score and date.
